THE PRETTIES

Last year this section was called the Uglies. It was called the Uglies because my goal was to put vegetables in the ground and watch them grow.  I had been growing vegetables for at least 2 decades but never on such a large scale, which made me believe some of our vegetables would certainly be ugly. 

 

We had some uglies, far less than I thought, but like children, all my vegetables looked beautiful to me.
